Welcome to the website of the Harmony Express - a men's a capella chorus based in Germantown, Maryland, and a chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. Our repertoire includes 20th century popular music (Sh-Boom, Breaking Up Is Hard to Do, Yesterday), traditional favorites (Georgia on My Mind, The Song Is Ended), patriotic songs and anthems (Star-Spangled Banner, O Canada, America the Beautiful, Service 5 Medley), and good old barbershop harmony favorites (New Gang on the Corner, I Told them All About You.) Join Us! If you wish to sing, participate in chapter operations, or want to join our fans to listen, we meet (with rare exceptions) Sunday evenings at 7:30 PM at St Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Gaithersburg. See the map below. You are welcome to just sit and listen, or even join us in singing a tag (an easily-learned ending to a song). Please call or e-mail in advance to get the details and to confirm that we'll be there the evening you plan to attend.
October 2011: Harmony Express placed 12th overall (AAA Plateau) among choruses of the Mid-Atlantic District in Lancaster, PA on October 1st! Link to official scoring here.
